| So it's been a million years since I wrote. And because of that, I thought I'd write something, jsut to make sure that I'm still here! LOL!
I'm in La La land now - have been since 2005 now. Life is strange here, and I'm closer to family of course. Still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. But I think I'm running out of time! Tick Tock!!!!

| So it's a new year. And I started it off with a head cold! ha!
Actually, i had a great new year's eve - Went to my friend's house in Glendale and hung out with her and some other cool peeps - drank some beer, ate some pizza, watched some Jackass 2 (yeah I never thought I'd actually find that movie funny), and then at midnight we set off some sparklers in the street and tooted our party horns and then rewound (the wonders of technology) the DVR and did the count down over again b/c we forgot the champagne!! HA HA! We were buzzed and thought it was a spectacular idea at the time. I think their neighbors probably hated us for blowing the party horns constantly - oh, well.
And then we proceeded to play drunken Candy Land - where you had to chug if you hit purple or something to that effect. It was funny - followed by Taboo! and drinking some more.
All in all it was a nice New Year's Eve. I hope everyone else had fun and that life is good. I know I haven't posted in a long LONG time. Maybe I'll be better at this year. We'll see. I don't seem to have much time these days and I can't post at work b/c Big Brother is always watching. I think if they could, they'd time our pee breaks as well. But I digress.
The new year holds many great things I hope - a new job in the direction of a career, weight loss (of course), meeting more great people and some hot men (Ryan Reynolds will do...really, I won't mind!), definitely some travel in there (if possible, international!!), and hey, while I'm at it - solely winning the lottery when there's a $250 million jackpot! =) Oh, dreams are wonderful aren't they?
Well, to a brand new year of great experiences, great health, lots of love and laughter - and hopefully more online postings. =) | | |

Life is good over here in Cali. I'm doing fine. I haven't been blogging for a good while - dont have time nor is there that much to talk about right now. just working two jobs still and trying to regain footing in the world!!
Just enjoying some of the rays and hoping it doesn't get too hot b/c my apt is like a sauna! Hope all is well with everyone. I of course still miss the Big Apple like crazy especially right around the time when a season changes. it's like i'm having phantom seasons over here where the weather stays the same.

| It's already mid March! Is that possible?
Life is the same as usual. I'm working a lot - trying to figure out the next step. I'm getting closer to it. I know all the things I don't want to do! That helps, I guess.
Tomorrow I have jury duty selection - oh fun. You mean i get to sit around and not get paid? That's awesome. Not.
Los Angeles is growing on me. I'm used to it by now. I miss NYC still like crazy. Mostly the energy and the hustle and bustle. Here, it's very quiet. And sort of lonesome in some ways. Everyone in their little boxes with wheels driving around with cell phones attached to their heads. But on the upside, I get to see the sun set from a pier that looks like you're going to walk into the end of the ocean. Some perks to living 15 minutes from the beach (by car that is).
I think the goal for this year is to find balance and purpose - and if possible declutter my crap (both physically in my apartment and mentally in my head!).
Otherwise, just trudging along. I get to see family more often which is nice.
